Today, the firm is managed by the grand-children of the founders – Jacques-Robert and Marie-Emmanuelle Belmont.
In 1995, after studying Economic Science and Finance Engineering and obtaining his DESS in Finances, Jacques-Robert starts his career within the company. Very naturally, he focuses on the management and finance part.
Shortly after, in 2000, his sister joins the company after graduating from 2 schools specialized in fashion design – Paris and Milan (specialized in shoe design). She focuses on the artistic part by researching new upcoming talents, participating in the creation of the Jacques Loup Collection and doing the buying of the new collections.
They work in pairs and share the passion for the job that was transmitted to them by their parents and grand-parents.
A side note, their parents, Marie-Françoise et Robert Belmont are still present in the company sharing their wise advice.
The different evolutions they have introduced like the development of the Ready-to-Wear Women and Men collection, have allowed to develop a new concept: THE TOTAL LOOK.

Both have also inherited the passion for the job thanks to the founders, Jacques and Line Loup. They have started their first shop in the rue Félix Faure and have dared to open up a shoe store of 350 m2 in the rue d’Antibes, which was enormous in those days.
They curated their collection in Italy but also working together with local artisans of the region on request. In a way, they have created the ready-to-wear of shoes!
Tradition, innovation and know-how has been passed through 3 generations thanks to this shared passion and by staying on top of trends.
